Neptis Ultrasound Gel Neptis ultrasound gel is a water soluble product and will not irritate the skin. It spreads easily and evenly. Medi-Ice Pak which has been producing Ice Packs for twenty years, now brings you Neptis Ultrasound Gel. Medi Pak in the course of developing the gel consulted with Radiologists, Radiographers and Physiotherapists. We found that the professions wanted a gel that: - Has good viscosity - Did not stain - Is easy to apply and remove - Came in convenient sizes of packaging - Had a good size pump that reached to the bottom of the 5 litre container - Is competitively priced - Is readily available - Is TGA approved - One hand operation - Preferably made in Australia Medi-Ice has produced a gel that has all of these qualities. It has a pop top bottle for ease of use. Now you don't have to struggle with cutting off the top of the witch cap. The pop top can be opened and closed with one hand. The gel is colourless so that you don't stain your clothes. A colour in no way assists in the diagnostic procedure. The pump draws up large amounts of gel so the 250 ml bottles can be filled quickly. It has a stem that reaches to the bottom so you can completely empty the container. Directions: Apply evenly over diagnostic area. Amount of gel required will depend upon size of area. Gel can be removed with a towel or tissue. Important: NEPTIS is an aqueous gel. A minimum pressure is required to maintain contact, excess pressure will mechanically remove the gel allowing the ultrasound applicator to pull or grab. Please Click the image for more information.
